Year 7 & 8

Welcome back to the 2021 school year! Hopefully, everyone had a chance to enjoy their summer break and is ready for another school year. I would like to extend my best wishes for the 2021 school year and welcome all our new students and parents to the Sirius College family.

Year 7 is an important stage in a student’s life as it is the first step into high school. It is a big milestone for students and comes with its own opportunities and challenges. Our dedicated staff are ready to assist students to make this process as stress free as possible.

We had a great start to the year with the Year 7s and I have been enjoying getting to know our new students. As announced at our first assemblies and orientations, Year 7 camp will go ahead this term. Camp is a wonderful opportunity for growth, allowing students to become independent and self-confident, while socializing and making new friends, and even learning new skills. Throughout the camp, students will participate in various fun activities and challenge themselves. I am looking forward to see our year 7 students make the most of this unique opportunity.
